Throughout his career, he has held diverse roles, including System Administrator, Network Engineer, Cyber Security Analyst, and Engineer. His experience spans across a variety of organizations, ranging from government agencies to nonprofit and healthcare entities.

In his current role as a Security professional, Wood plays a pivotal role in supporting multiple facets of the IT field. From identity management to network security, security awareness training, and vulnerability management, he brings a comprehensive approach to ensuring digital safety. Leading a dedicated security team, Wood is responsible for upholding the organization’s security policies, safeguarding the network and security infrastructure, and optimizing key security systems. His ultimate goal is to contribute to creating a secure cyberspace for organizations by identifying innovative ways to mitigate cyber threats and elevate the security profession.

Wood’s academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a master’s degree in Cybersecurity from Syracuse University. His commitment to professional growth is highlighted by his Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and CompTIA Security+ Certification.

When he’s not immersed in his professional endeavors, Wood finds joy on the soccer field with friends, showcasing his culinary creativity at home grilling sessions, and embarking on enriching travel experiences with his family to explore new cultures.
